Just a few weeks ago, the Field Operations crew were navigating the rocky shorelines near Tree Point Lighthouse (south of Ketchikan) to upgrade equipment at MXAK’s southernmost AIS site and weather station. We are also expanding the benefits of AIS technology to digitally transmit weather and other safety information to mariners.
