1964 BSA A65 Rocket / Lightning Upgrades. BSA Bantam Library D1 D3 D5 D7 D10 D14. I mentioned in passing to an aquaintance that what I was really looking for was a and early Lightning Rocket. They have not been idling well. Well truth is stranger than fiction. You do remember that you owe me $500.00 if it runs. Or perhaps the lower fuel level under hard braking is causing too much fuel to enter the bowl and after the stop it dies too rich. I've never seen or heard of any bike with that lens/adapter setup other than 65's, was no reason to add the cup and change the lens. I scored a NOS set of fuel lines (still shiney and flexible.).
I noticed your side covers have white striping with black paint on top. However, the last MOT in 2015 states it is a Rocket. I'm tempted to try and make my 1970 FB look somewhat similar.
