Troopmaster has a “import from Scoutbook”. For more assistance, see the getting started guides here. Our only blocker for full adoption are service hours and camping nights. I have used TM for years with Cub Scouts and then with the Troop. Does troopmaster have an export function? I now want to try and use the SB templates to get in the activities. This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! I'm going to be really sad if we are required to  move to SB within the next 3 years. I have a 30-day trial, and imported our Scouts' roster into SB via ScoutNet. I guess we'll see. How do I export advancement data from Scoutbook or Internet Advancement. Monthly advancement and Recharter are done by uploading TM files to national with no problems. Scoutbook is going to replace the online advancement and recharter sections, Here is a link to the form Paul and I are talking about. There is not much on that ScoutBook Yahoo group - only 5 messages ever all in July 2015, nothing about Scouting's intentions to require its use. Is anyone else seeing this? I don’t know what you will get because Scoutbook and TM don’t talk real good. I have encountered the same issue. I want to simplify things and move everything to Scoutbook. Not sure about electronic as we don't submit that way but I know the registrar personally and she would have said something if it was national as we just renewed a council based program using Troopmaster for three more years. We have used IA (Internet Advancement) for 2-3 years, exporting the file. In the past there were options to export Rank and Leadership data, but that now seems to be gone. Welcome! In addition, scoutbook should sync with the old internet advancement, which means if you reported it before, it should show up.
We are also using Troopmaster for Advancement. Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA. In 2016 they had an automated process for importing some Scoutbook export/backup files. I am attempting to export our scout and adult data, as we are making the move from TM after 10+ years. I doubt councils will want to do paper files by hand.

I tried the demo of Scout Books and was not impressed so I purchased TM (3 yr subscription, no less). Must be a council thing as we've not had any issues. Maybe it has to come in from Internet Advancement, but that’s its own whole mystery.

You want to get the Scoutbook data. Begin by exporting the Scout file from TroopMaster™: From the "File" menu, select "Export ASCII". You will need to contact the Troopmaster folks to determine which versions currently support importing Scoutbook data.
Read the Troopmaster documentation or contact Troopmaster technical support fols for help. A users group was created for these type of questions and comments. I'm not sure how they will require Scoutbook unless they make it free. On the Export Data screen, check the box that says "Include field names as first line of export… I just found the Unit Advancement report and it has saved a world of time in getting signatures. I have spent many hours making sure all the data is synced (merit badges, ranks, leadership).
