GAYLORD, MI – An extension to the state’s huge Iron Belle Trail, which will connect the western-most parts of the Upper Peninsula to the southeast Lower Peninsula, is now open in Northern Michigan’s Otsego County. This beautiful edifice was built in 1893 to accommodate the influx of immigrants and Americans seeking work in the great iron mines surrounding the area.
