And after a listen, I was unimpressed with the majority of it. Share your truths about the Manics' 'This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours'.

I have this weird version - (maybe a pressing error?)

Fans of the early albums complain that this one does not rock enough (there is not really anything at all punk rock about this release), and that some of the songs are overly pretentious.

OK, James Dean Bradfield may have a limited vocal range, but he sure has passion to spare. Just here for my 2 cents on the SQ which on my pressing at least is nothing short of outstanding. It is most likely an error because the actual tracklist is printed on the back and it shows the regular order. There are a few weaker tracks here, but overall this is a solid Manic album. 'Nobody Loved You' has been replaced on the first disc for a "fan favourite" b-side, and the only version available to listen to on this set is a very poor demo on the 2nd CD. Removing "nobody loved you" in favor of "prologue to history" is a disgraceful act of revisionism. Whatever you think of Prologue to History (personally I can take or leave it), it's *not on* This Is My Truth any more than it's on The Holy Bible. Which song is most meaningful to you? Go where the cash is already flowing! If you're a seller, Fulfillment by Amazon can help you grow your business. And that would have been unforgivably stupid of me, as repeated listens showed me that this is certainly at least tied for first for best Manics album, and indisputably the album of the year. Want to make extra money? EMG and THB open at the side with the seal towards the end of the flap.

A story about a teenager who finds that super powers don’t necessarily make your life easier. I can see where songs like “The Everlasting” might turn some fans off, but to my ears it is one of the best tracks on the disc.
