The original seat and rear (powder coated) footrests are included. It was completely dismantled and everything was rebuilt, refurbished or replaced as needed. Model I had a BSA expert install the harness and complete the wiring and he installed a new gel battery, engine/transmission lubricants and gas in the tank. The engine was completely disassembled, inspected and re-assembled with new-old-stock piston/rings after the bores, (which showed very little wear), were honed. The previous owner had an issue with the battery and it leaked down the side of the bike. Asking $6500 OBO. There is more that can be done to make it show quality, like new chrome exhausts, new chrome rear fender & Chain guard & a few other minor items. All cycle parts were rebuilt, including new Excel rims, polished, painted and laced with stainless spokes.

Chrome is excellent with minor blistering on a couple areas, a small dent in front fender, and a couple dents on front edge of gas tank, tank chrome is excellent. It has been well taken care of will sell cheap $3,000.00, this is a great running and riding turn key and go !! The rest of the bike is also nicely settled with the patina of a high quality restoration.
I have detailed service records for all work done. Rear suspension is good, but the front forks may need an overhaul. vintage BSA It has a lot of upgrades ,three phase stator /regulator ,sparks ing ,new harness negative ground system ,THE TACH AND SPEEDO ARE JUMPY AT TIMES ,I am including another correct speedo ,and it could use another set of mufflers (cosmetic reasons ), NOW IS THE TIME TO PURCHASE !
Model Been meaning to restore it but not likely I'll ever get around to it. Tank and side panels were repainted and remain in excellent condition.
I don't know what it will take to get it running again aside from fluids, battery, tires, etc. Frame & Motor VIN #s have been cleared as not stolen for the new Michigan Title. It has sat for years but had it running a few weeks back. Has a new Dunlop front tire, and the back tire is only two years old.
Up front, a Triumph T140 front end was installed with disc brake for the greatly improved braking of 1970s technology.

He had installed the better twin carb head from the Lightning onto the motor and re-installed into the bike. I'm not sure of the actual mileage. Comes with last registration and bill of sale. I noted that the carbs will need adjustment or maybe even replacement as the left side"tickler was weeping until the bike started then it was fine. The black paint has been redone at some point, and the original chrome finish on the tank is good. The tank badges were powder coated the same red as the frame with the side panels powder coated to match the tank.
