This was perhaps a bit short sighted. what you put into this job is what you will get out of this job. I think it can be helpful for someone who needs the extra coaching.

I’m very selective about the dogs I choose to walk and dogsit. I’ve been using it for about 3 months and have made ruffly $1000 doing it very part-time. Be aware that if you have any clients already, once you switch to RoverGo, they will take 25% of your earnings from them as well, not just new clients. Help out others considering your employer. I never stay in peoples homes because imo that’s weird and clients who want that tend to be crazy obsessive over their pets. It can be a little competitive depending on where you live, and the type of pet care you are providing. It's an atmosphere where the people there pride themselves on supporting "diversity", but the truth is it's very much monocultural.
Been thinking of doing rovergo, has anyone switched from a regular account to roverGo? Self employment, self managment, animal time, competitive pay, meeting strangers, inconvienit requested work times. You’ll make the most with housesitting and dog boarding. edit. I’ve been with rover for almost 3 years and it’s the best job I’ve had I love working with animals and the work I do and the care I give them and the repeat clients and new friends in my work. If communication and professionalism is something you feel comfortable and confident in, then I would definitely recommend for a little extra cash. It's only worth it if theres multiple pups involved but after doing 1 RoverGo walk I was left super salty...The walk was charged at $20. Worth it in my opinion! I don’t accept dogs over 40 lbs and make sure to read all the notes before accepting a request.
I recommend starting your payrate low because of being new to the job but after a couple jobs you can raise it. Right now is not the greatest time to be a pet sitter.
