On an iPhone 8 or earlier, double-click the Home button to show your most recently used apps. I don’t want to uninstall it as I fear I’ll lose the images I haven’t exported yet. And then when you try to open and run an app, it struggles to get some breathing space with all the choking apps running in the background along with it. this is a common occurence, what i generally do is reset the ipod (hold both buttons for about 5 seconds until the screen goes black, and the apple logo appears.
