This book has been reviewed more than enough for me to waste any time retelling the sort of stuff that the two people that may actually read this would already know. You could read this book straight through and then come back and just savor the stories individually from time to time. My reaction to this volume of short stories was rather unexpected. Categories. I got hooked on Elmore Leonard after I watched the show "Justified".

This what I experienced in the third segment of Raylan Givens. Elmore Leonard wrote more than forty books during his long career, including the bestsellers Raylan, Tishomingo Blues, Be Cool, Get Shorty, and Rum Punch, as well as the acclaimed collection When the Women Come Out to Dance, which was a New York Times Notable Book. The highlight for many will be the Raylan Givens story "Fire in the Hole." The Elmore Leonard Bus Tour and the only man alive who can bring in the fierce Apache renegade Soldado Viejo. Justified is significantly better than most cop shows, not least because of its setting in deep Kentucky.
Leonard’s narratives are character-driven but his characters aren’t generally very sympathetic. Marshal Raylan Givens meets up with an old friend, but they’re now on different sides of the law.
While it's arguable if the book is better here, Timothy Olyphant and the characters from the show are who I visualized in the book, which made it that much more exciting.
